a compassionate place for grieving individuals to process the past and the present while creating altered/new goals for the future

Individual Support & Coaching

The deep loneliness and pain of grief matters to me. Following the funeral, the flowers, casseroles, cards and initial offers of help may be gone, no one may mention the name anymore, but you have to keep living in the daily finality of the loss. Sometimes well-meaning friends and family are afraid to say "the wrong thing," so they say nothing at all at a time you need support the most.

Perhaps a secondary loss following the death is just a place to process the events of your week. That is part of what coaching can be...through the lens of grief, discussing questions about your new reality that others might be intimidated to ask you. Though everyone's experience with grief is unique, grief does not typically manifest itself in orderly stages. Grief can be messy and unpredictable. Having a place to openly process can be a comfort at a difficult time.

Individual Support & Coaching is an initial set of 4-5 individual sessions provided either in person if desired (in the East Texas area), over an audio call, or over Google Meet video conferencing. Additional sessions can be added upon request.

Individual Sessions: $70 per session (50 minutes)

“Julie Lynn has a compassionate presence that offers freedom to people who are grieving. This presence gives them the opportunity to express themselves honestly and courageously. She is very good at engaging them in conversation that invites them to deal with their grief and loss with dignity and purpose, and in the process find strength, comfort and peace.”
